Our rooms
Underland
Underland is the largest room at The Mix, a multi-purpose hall with an adjoining foyer, toilets, and changing rooms.
It's been used for conferences, dance classes, graduations, launch events, exhibitions, and drama sessions to name a few! Its minimal decor allows the room to be transformed to suit your event.
There is a large projector and screen, along with professional performance lights. If required, technical support can be booked to ensure that your event goes off without a hitch.
The Lion
The Lion is on our first floor at the front of the building. There is disabled access via a lift.
The room has a wall-mounted TV, a whiteboard, and plenty of plug sockets built into the floor. The natural light makes this a bright and airy space to be in.
The Unicorn

The Lion & The Unicorn
When you put two good things together, they become great. The Lion & The Unicorn together make one of our most popular room, especially for training sessions and team meetings.
Together the room spans the entire front wall of The Mix on the top floor and boasts two whiteboards and TVs.
The first floor can be accessed via stairs or a lift.
There are many plug sockets built into the floor which is perfect for meetings.
The Cave
The Cave is on the ground floor and is the first meeting room you come to as you enter The Mix.
The name 'The Cave' comes from having no outside windows, but it's far from dingy in there. A glass panel allows lots of external light flow in, but there are blinds on the window if you would like privacy.
The room has a whiteboard and a TV. This can be connected to your laptop via an HDMI cable.
The Drawing Room
The Drawing Room is a light and airy room on the ground floor with big windows to let the sun shine in!
It's great for any creative bookings, with a sink in the room to use.
It's often used for meetings, 1-2-1 sessions and classes, and the whiteboard in the room is a great addition.
The Studio
The Mix is lucky enough to have its very own recording studio housed in the heart of the venue.
Consisting of both a mixing room and a live room, the studio also has a green screen for recording your own music videos!
The Youth Hall
The Youth Hall is the centre of The Mix, and is dedicated to young people.
The large space is perfect for parties, hanging out, and relaxing. It's where our drop in sessions take place twice a week.
The Youth Hall is here for young people first and foremost, so it isn't available to book during weekdays or drop in times.
