The Cave is on the ground floor, and is the first meeting room you come to as you enter The Mix. The name 'The Cave' comes from having no outside windows, but it's far from dingy in there! A glass panel wall allows lots of external light to flow in.

The room also has a whiteboard and a TV on the adjacent wall. This can be connected to your laptop via an HDMI lead. 

The Drawing Room is a light and airy room on the ground floor, with big windows to let the sun shine in! It's great for any creative bookings, with a sink in the room to use. It's also often used for meetings, 1-1 sessions and classes, and the whiteboard in the room is a great addition. 

The Lion is on our first floor at the front of our building, there is a disabled access lift to access the first floor. The room has a wall-mounted TV, a whiteboard and plenty of plug sockets built into the floors. The natural light makes this a bright and airy space to be in.

 The Unicorn is on our first floor at the front of our building, there is a disabled access lift to access the first floor. The room has a television, a large whiteboard and plenty of plug sockets built into the floors too. The large windows in the Unicorn make this room feel fresh and inviting.

When you put two good things together, they become great. The Lion & Unicorn together make one of our most popular rooms, especially for training sessions and team meetings. It spans the entire front wall of The Mix and boasts two whiteboards along with a TV screen.

There are many plug sockets in the floor of the room which is perfect for board meetings and IT sessions.

Underland is the largest room at The Mix, a multipurpose hall with adjoining foyer, toilets and changing rooms. It's been used for conferences, dance classes, graduations and launch events to name a few! Its minimal decor allows the room to be transformed to suit your event.

There is a large projector and screen in Underland, along with professional performance lighting. If required, technical support can be booked to ensure that your event goes off without a hitch.

The Mix is lucky to have their very own recording studio housed in the heart of the venue. Consisting of both a mixing room and a live room, Vorpal Studio also has a 'green screen' for recording your very own videos.

The Youth Hall is the centre of The Mix, and is dedicated to young people. The large space is perfect for birthday parties, hanging out and relaxing.

The Youth Hall is here for young people first and foremost, so it isn't available to book during weekdays or drop-in times. Please do still get in touch with us, as we may still be able to accommodate you.

No booking is a good booking without nibbles and drinks! That's where Cabbages & Kings come in. 

​

From finger sandwiches to a roast dinner buffet, they've done it all. See our Platters menu for a taste of what they can offer your booking, but don't be afraid to go off-piste and use your imagination! They can also cater for events outside of The Mix - just drop them an email directly.

​

They also provide tea and coffee making facilities for bookings of 10 people or more. This is just £1 per person per serving, just let us know when you book and we'll sort it for you. If there's less than 10 of you, not a problem - Cabbages & Kings coffee shop is to the rear of the building and can take your order on the day.
